I think So Much for the Afterglow might be comparable to (What's the Story) Morning Glory? for best album of the nineties. Both of them include some of my favourite songs from two of my favourite bands, and they're both probably the best albums put out by Everclear and Oasis, respectively. They're both in competition with Weezer of course.
Bob Dylan is coming out with a Christmas album here in a couple weeks. I find that a little ironic. I don't know if I'll get it or not. I've yet to get his last album.
Have you ever heard Allen Ginsberg read "Howl"? It takes a while, but it's worth the listen. You'll feel almost enlightened afterwards.
