I finally saw Slumdog Millionaire last week. And then I saw it again last night. It's a good film. But The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is better. It should have swept the Oscars. For one, it is not a realist film with the most obscure plot. It also switches from Hindi to English for no apparent reason other than for the simple reason that the child actors probably did not know English and that many of the actors were not actually from India (i.e Dev Patel). Plus, people don't like subtitles.
